What this website collects, and what it doesn't.

Email signups

If you sign up for a guide, we collect your email address and, if you give it, your first name. We use them to send you the guide and occasional ChairGlow emails. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Your details are stored by our form and email providers (Netlify and EmailOctopus). We don't sell your details.

The session builder

When you use "Tell us what you need", the text you type is sent to our server, which uses Anthropic's Claude AI to pick exercises from our library. Please don't type your name or other personal details into it. We don't store what you type in a database.

Progress, settings and self-check results

Your program ticks, text size, theme, and self-check results are saved only in your own browser (local storage). They never leave your device, and we can't see them. Clearing your browser data removes them. The self-check page also has a button to delete saved results.

Videos

Videos are shown as a picture until you press play. Only then is the YouTube player loaded, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced (no-cookie) mode. Once a video plays, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies.
